STD TESTING

What gets detected:

Experts recommended getting screened for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) annually. Take note that you won’t automatically get an STD test whenever you undergo a medical exam. It’s best to have it done separately, especially if you are sexually active or at risk of infection.

STDs can be asymptomatic and the only way to detect infection is through testing. Instead of putting your partner at risk of infection, you should take a proactive step by taking the test regularly.

Don’t hesitate to get an STD testing anytime. If you need quick results and don’t want to wait in line, you are welcome to visit us to get tested.

FOOD SENSITIVITY TEST

A food sensitivity test is done through a special blood test. Our licensed nurse will draw the sample and send it to our partner laboratory for examination.
Food sensitivity tests are different from allergy tests. Food sensitivity tests detect digestive reactions through blood samples while allergy tests determine immune system reactions through a skin test.
If you already took an allergy test, it’s important to be tested for food sensitivity, too. It’s because intolerances can’t be detected through skin tests alone.
Knowing your food intolerances will let you understand your body even more. This will help you adjust your diet for optimal health and comfort.

If you are experiencing recurring indigestion, fatigue, brain fog, and headaches, you should consider taking a food sensitivity test. Sometimes, a simple stomach upset may turn out to be a serious case of food intolerance.

You can call us to book your food sensitivity test – no waiting in line or limited appointment dates. T&C Wellness Center will make you the priority, so you will get the test results as fast as 48 hours.

Multi-Panel Drug Tests

All drug tests generally follow the same procedure where each panel is a specific drug being tested. For instance, a 5-panel drug screening tests for 5 drugs, whereas a 10 panel drug screening tests for 10 drugs.

The standard 5-panel drug screening urine test is the most common and is routinely utilized by private employers, as well as government agencies, since it tests for the 5 most habitually abused substances: Marijuana, Cocaine, Opiates, PCP and Amphetamines/Methamphetamines.

The 5-panel drug test is the nationwide standard for the Federal government’s Mandatory Guidelines for Workplace Drug Testing, which is why it is used for the majority of workplace drug screenings. For instance, the DOT (Department of Transportation) requires their truck drivers to undergo a five panel urine drug test prior to employment and randomly throughout the year during their term of employment. DOT truck drivers are also required to submit to a 5-panel drug test after an accident, or if reasonable suspicion exists that a driver may be using illegal drugs.
